Product video
A product video has one job: show the thing clearly enough that someone can decide. That means controlled light, honest colour and a camera that stays exactly where you put it.
The colour has to be right
If a customer receives a different shade than the video showed, you get a return. High colour accuracy — Ra95+ rather than a cheap panel — is not a luxury when you are selling the item.
Shoot down, not across
Most products are shot on a table, which means the camera needs to be above it. A tall tripod or a desk arm gets you the overhead angle that a normal tripod cannot reach.
Lift the product off the background
A second light — even a small stick raked along the edge — draws a bright line down the side of the product and stops it merging into the surface behind.

Common questions
What is the cheapest setup that looks professional?
One accurate light, a tripod tall enough to look down at the table, and a plain sheet of paper as the background. Under ৳4,000 total.
Why do my product colours look wrong?
Usually mixed light: a window and a warm ceiling bulb at once. Turn the room lights off, use one light source, and set the white balance to it.
Do I need two lights?
Not to start. A second light is what turns a clear photo into a good-looking one, so it is the natural next purchase rather than the first.
